At Preferred Kids Services, we believe that strong, collaborative relationships are essential to providing the highest quality of care. Your clinical team is made up of compassionate, highly trained professionals who work together to support your child's growth, independence, and success. Below is an overview of the team members you may work with and how each contributes to your child's program.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Your BCBA is responsible for:

Conducting assessments to understand your child's strengths, needs, and goals

Developing an individualized treatment plan

Overseeing all clinical decisions
-
Training, supervising, and supporting the Behavior Therapists
-
Monitoring progress and adjust treatment as needed
-
Meeting with caregivers for collaboration and training
Your BCBA is your primary clinical contact and partner throughout your child's ABA journey.

Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst
(BCaBA)
Your BCaBA works under the supervision of the BCBA and is responsible for:

Assisting in assessments and treatment planning

Support and supervise RBTs in session implementation
-
Monitoring your child's progress and data collection
-
Providing guidance and support to caregivers
-
Helping ensure consistency and quality of care across sessions
BCaBAs serve as a bridge between the BCBA's oversight and the day-to-day delivery of your child's program.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Your RBT works directly with your child during therapy sessions and is trained to:

Implement the treatment plan developed by the BCBA

Collect data to track progress

Teach skills through evidence-based ABA strategies

Provide support during challenging moments

Communicate daily updates regarding your child's sessions
The RBT works closely with the BCBA to ensure consistency, quality, and individualized care.

Clinical Director
Our Clinical Director:

Supports the BCBA with clinical oversight

Helps with training and onboarding of RBTs

Assists with assessments, plan updates, and can help with parent training
