Parent Training & Family Participation
At Preferred Kids Services, families are essential partners in your child's ABA journey. Your involvement helps ensure therapy is consistent, effective, and meaningful across all settings.
Caregiver Collaboration
The purpose of caregiver training is to teach you how to implement ABA strategies and techniques with your child. Your active participation helps ensure that the skills your child is learning in therapy are reinforced consistently at home and in everyday situations. Insurance companies require this because the effectiveness of ABA depends not only on therapy sessions but also on your ability to support and generalize these skills in your child's daily life.

Learning ABA Strategies
Reinforce skills at home. Actively participate in the treatment planning and goal setting.

Understanding Treatment Plan
Know how goals are addressed. Provide feedback on strategies that work well at home or in other setting.

Practicing Techniques
Practice communication & behavior techniques. Attend Training and learn evidence-based techniques and interventions.

Regular Check-Ins
Review progress with BCBA/BCaBA. Share insight about your child's strengths, interest, routines, and needs.
Your Role Matters:
Active family participation supports skill generalization, strengthens routines, and helps your child reach meaningful goals more quickly. Together, we create a supportive and consistent environment for learning and growth.
