Preferred Kid Services stands as a premier provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, committed to prioritizing the well-being of your family and child. Our clinical journey commences with the expertise of our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who conducts thorough Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) employing observation, interaction, and standardized assessments. Subsequently, a tailored treatment plan is crafted to address the unique needs, environments, skills, interests, and behaviors of your specific child.
Numerous children, spanning diagnoses such as Autism, ADHD, and conduct disorder, often manifest challenging behaviors like property destruction, tantrums, or self-injury. ABA therapy becomes a transformative tool, guiding them toward appropriate forms of communication, and imparting the words and skills integral to their personalized treatment plans.
Our approach to ABA therapy is designed to involve families actively in the selection and approval of their children's therapy. Meaningful growth and positive change flourish when families engage in the daily community and family life of their child. To facilitate this, we allocate dedicated hours for training sessions, empowering families to play a vital role in the success of their child's treatment plan.

Step One
1- Consultation & Documentation Retrevial
Call us or and an Intake Coordinator will guide you through the process. We discuss your childs strengths, challenges, and typical behaviors and what treatment setting your family needs. We go over documentation requirements, and what documents Insurance mandates. Once all the required documents are retrieved we review the clinical documentation such as the ABA referral and evaluations and work directly with your Insurance for a
pre-authorization for an evaluation.

2- Assessment & Development of the Treatment Plan
Once the insurance approves the initial assessment, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will do a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and observe and interact with your child to note behaviors, as well as conduct other standardized assessments. Based on the FBA, a treatment plan will be made specifically for your childs goals and needs. We will walk you through the treatment plan, and once parent approved, submit it to your insurance for acceptance.
Step Four
4- Reevaluation to Assess Progress
Board Certified Behavior Analysts are constantly evaluating your child's progress and adapting strategies in the treatment plan, as therapist gain more insight to your child, their behavior, and environment. BCBA gage the data and continuously make changes if needed to drive results to help your child thrive. A reassessment take place every six months to monitor your childs treatment plans progress, and effectiveness. Your BCBA will discuss the assessment with you and upon approval will again be sent to your insurance for approval.
3- Implement the Treatment Plan with Patient therapy & Parent Training
Based on an Analyst built treatment, parent approved, and insurance company accepted plan, your BCBA and Behavior Technician will partner with your family to schedule the recommended hours and begin implementation of treatment immediately. Insurance allocates hours for parent training. These trainings will be crucial in meeting your child's growth and accelerate and reinforce their treatment plans. The parent trainings helps families adapt and practice new skills and behaviors your child is learning. We are in this together.

Additional time spent in these natural settings proves beneficial, contributing to their ongoing success.
